Multiple disciplines referred to as thermophysics
At present, the thermophysics page appears to refer only to "the application of thermodynamics to geophysics and to planetary science more broadly" yet thermophysics is more commonly used to refer to the field of study of thermodynamic and transport properties of various states of matter. To illustrate, if one googles thermophysics the vast majority of results are related to this alternative meaning of thermophysics, the only notable exception being wikipedia. Similarly, if one searchs thermophysics while restricting the results to those from wikipedia itself, all results bar this page use the alternative meaning.
The page for thermophysics should be changed to reflect the common definition of thermophysics, both for accuracy and for consistency within wikipedia. Whether there should be two separate pages or if the current information should become a subsection of a new updated page is unclear, but there is definitely more work that can be done here.
