Lead
  • "It was the very first episode to be filmed in the series". I'm not sure I quite follow that; are you saying that although it was the fourth episode in the fifth series it was filmed before all the other episodes in that series? Why?
    • Yes, that was the way the production schedules went. Episodes 4 and 5 were the first to be filmed, then 2 and 3, then 1. No specific reason that I have found. None of the past series were filmed in order, either. Glimmer721 talk 01:37, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Most of the Weeping Angels in the episode were portrayed by young women who were painted and dressed in costumes, which director Adam Smith found difficult to work with." Surely people are routinely dressed in costumes in dramas? What was it exactly that Smith found difficult? That they were painted, that they wore costumes, or that that they were young women?
  • "... received the highest Appreciation Index given to the fifth series thus far." Isn't the fifth season over? How could the ranking change?
Plot
  • "... to help her capture the Angel before it becomes too powerful from the radiation leaked by the ship". I can't quite parse "too powerful from".
Filming and effects
  • "Scenes set on the surface of Alfava Metraxis were filmed at Southerndown beach, Vale of Glamorgan on 20 and 21 July 2009. 20 July was the first day of filming the series." That's rather ugly; sentences ought not to begin with a number, especially directly after another number as here. What about something like "Filming began on ..."?
    • I've changed it to "Filming began on 20 July 2009 on Southerndown beach, Vale of Glamorgan, which was used as the surface of Alfava Metraxis. However, filming at the beach halted on 21 July 2009 because of torrential rain..." Glimmer721 talk 01:37, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • "A stunt double was used for some shots of the scene where River flies out of the Byzantium's airlock, but Alex Kingston wished to do some of it herself. The scene was filmed on a greenscreen with Kingston hooked up on wires ...". Why do we flip between Kingston and Alex Kingston?
  • "For the scene in which sand pours out of Amy's eye as she rubs it, an eye patch containing sand that would be released when Karen Gillan rubbed it was placed over Gillan's eye." Same thing here, sometimes Gillan, sometimes Karen Gillan.
