What was the movie about.

What was the movie about. I come to wikipedia to be spoiled not get something that sounds like the movies promotional literature . If i dont know what its about i wont let my family watch it. At some point “murder she wrotes” wili article gave away the murderer, then a cabal of antispoiling people decided to take that information away because in their opinion spoilers are blasphemy.
