The Gospel (film)

The title of this article can be misleading to readers, as it does not direct to what is likely to be the more widely understood meaning of "the Gospel," ie the Gospel. I would submit that, since the single distinction between the film and the more widely understood meaning of the term is the existence of a capital T in the indefinite article, the, this page could benefit by the disambiguation of being renamed, The Gospel (film). I should also note that the film's placement under its current article title effects an appearance of being a deliberate publicity move. Although this may not in fact be the case, moving the subject to a less misleading title would free it of any such appearance.

I invite comments on this before any such disambiguation is undertaken. Projection70 20:17, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's unnecessary. People are more likely to look under "Gospel" instead of "the Gospel" in a "go" entry or in a URL line. I changed the disambiguation at the top of the page to link to Gospel (disambiguation) to make it shorter. People can easily find what they mean there if they end up here by accident. I agree - leave it as it is. DonMEGA60645Talk|Contribs 13:05, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:The Gospel.jpg

Image:The Gospel.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
