Position

Since there's been a lot of editing conflicts, I'm asking y'all to chill out, we can discuss Most's political position and sources here. :)

The party has had multiple phases in my opinion:

1) of course the local, anti-corruption, but probably a bit right-leaning party of Metković (2012-2014)

2) centrist, big tent party full of independent lists and politicians from all over the spectrum. It had quite a few of left-leaning and centrist MPs. They slowly started to leave the party unhappy with the government with right-wing HDZ and the party leadership (founders Petrov, Grmoja) who are ideologically right-wing. The party still didn't talk about ideological questions and all but the party membership was moving to the right (or rather what remained of it remained on the right) (2015-2019)

3) centre-right to right-wing, or maybe just right-wing. With additions of ultraconservative Marin Miletić and well-known (from TV) intellectuals Raspudić and Selak Raspudić, the party shifted to the right. They then came out of the closet as a moderate right-wing, conservative (they called themselves centre-right) party and started to rebrand themselves as such. (2020-2024)

4) right-wing (possibly even rw to far-right) since April 2024 when Raspudić and Selak Raspudić left. Selak is a centrist and she herself said in an intrerview when she was supposed to lead the 2024 EP election list for Most that she was focused on various issues like AI, but when she left then the party started to base its campaign on Christian values and made a coalition with the far-right HSP. It's anti LGBT rights, anti-abortion, using rw populist and nationalist rhetoric,... also anyone will easily find sources for Christian right

I think the infobox should have a Formerly:/Historical: position or ideology labeled too as the party is so different than it was before. I'm definitely planning to work on the article since right now it's an outdated mess, but until everything is more sourced and better explained in the article, I think right-wing is okay. Definitely not centre-right, but maybe not far-right either, depending on the sources. But those sources need to be from 2020 or after and not self-description.

The infobox should only include positions they are widely described as, far right is definitely not that --FMSky (talk) 13:59, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In summary, I think right-wing is the best. Maybe with Formerly: big tent/centrist CroatiaElects (talk) 14:04, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Former positons are rarely mentioned directly, so I added a sidenote. Odideum (talk) 15:39, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
