• @Oiyarbepsy: Date and hook fine. However this is currently a little too short at 1,252 characters (it needs 1,500).       • Except—the Washington Post and HITC disagree about the validity of the claim that the show was directly cancelled because of white's opposition.           • Hmm, not sure? from the Washington Post: It’s unclear whether her decision to keep Duncan affected the show’s fate, but it was repeatedly rescheduled for different time slots before quietly being taken off the air that same year. In other words, it's saying "did this affect anything? no idea, but it sure looks fishy". They're very careful not to say that it had a clear effect. And to be honest, if I wanted to write a hook that did assert causality, ALT0 is how I would write it. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/she) 07:03, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
            • I just made an edit to a related article that used text from this article and I left off something similar while doing so because of the text from the Washington Post. The only helpful this I can suggest (and more to Oiyarbepsy) is that the information from The Washington Post seems to be based on a PBS documentary called Pioneers of Television: Betty White - First Lady of Television. Discrepancy

Why is the second Betty White show disambiguated by its starting year while this one is by its ending year? If it’s because that was when it was nationally picked up that wouldn’t make sense because even MST3K’s dateline includes the KTMA year.--CreecregofLife (talk) 08:48, 2 January 2022 (UTC)

Regarding the time slot changes.

Regarding this edit, I want to make clear that we do have a source that the show's slot, so part of the text can be used in the event that a source can not be found for the claim that it was done in response. I believe the best current location would be in the final paragraph, making the first sentence read something like: NBC repeatedly changed the show's time slot^[1] and the show was quietly canceled on December 31, 1954.^[2] --Super Goku V (talk) 10:28, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
