Term change

I changed the words "plantation" to "garden" in order to more accurately reflect the terminology used by the industry, except in instances when it was part of a name.144.92.184.156 (talk) 18:16, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Omit tea farms still establishing plants

I think that only farms actually producing tea should be included on this page to stay relevant with the title. Farms still establishing their plants should wait until they are actively producing a crop before adding their name to the list. Otherwise we risk publicizing information that does not come to fruition. Like the saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. For example, it appears the Finger Lakes Tea Company has failed in their attempt to grow tea after the record cold winter of 2013-14. Here is the only known picture of the tea fields after autumn 2013: picture blog article

someone reverted my changes only taking the time to remark in the edit summary "This is not called 'successful production' but 'tea production' in gener..."

To this I say let's look at the definition of "production". From the corresponding wikipedia page, "It is the act of creating output, a good or service which has value and contributes to the utility of individuals. Thus without an output, it is technically not production. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinus jeffreyi (talkcontribs) 02:01, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone wants to include information about farms intending to produce tea in the near future. I would suggest making a new section about tea farms in development. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinus jeffreyi (talkcontribs) 02:06, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Production statistic 0?

The first ¶ of the article says that the Charlston Tea Plantation produces a bunch of tea. But the chart immediately below says that "Production" is 0. Either one of these is incorrect and should be fixed, or "Production" should be explained. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.90.153.62 (talk) 14:55, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
