Tax rebate?

I came to wikipedia to learn about the distinctions within tax rebate (called resomething and non-resomething). There are the kind that you get back only if you made enough money to owe taxes and you can deduct the amount of the rebate from what you owe. I think the homeowner's tax break is an example of this. I want to know if I can get 30% of what I spend on an energy efficient window added to what the government owes me. This would be an example of the other kind of rebate. (I am poor so I get all my taxes back.) I wanted to know this so I could write a letter to npr asking them to be specific about which kind of rebate it is when talking about tax rebates, because it matters to poor people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Edward tulane (talk • contribs) 02:41, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

2019 US editorializing

I'm leaving it in here for now, but the editorializing about a single datapoint concerning the 2019 tax refund season (for 2018 taxes) in the US seems like it runs afoul of Wikipedia not being a news reporting agency.
