Unsourced Doukas kinship

Despite repeated requests for documentation of the allegation that the Tarielashvili are or are reputed to be descendants of the Byzantine imperial Doukas dynasty which became extinct in the medieval era, the completely unsubstantiated rumor is re-inserted in the article. Only when challenged, was the claim to Doukas descent described as a "family legend" instead of as fact. Since three editors (whose written diction is uncannily similar) who have mostly posted about this family have each restored the allegation without footnoting it to a reliable source, the claim, whether to actual membership or to "tradition", should be omitted from the article until properly sourced. Otherwise, it seems that the intent is to keep the unsubstantiated affiliation in print on English Wikipedia, despite challenges to its authenticity. It's time to stop inflating the status and affiliations of the Tarielashvili until properly documented. FactStraight (talk) 11:58, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
