Problems
I see a problem with presidential symbols being a unique topic. Why are presidential symbols unique to the symbols of a prime minister or dictator? Tfine80 06:40, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
- I am just filling a request at WP:RA. Of course, since this is a Wiki, we can move the article. What title do you wish this article can be under? Zscout370 (Sound Off) 06:42, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
NPOV
The whole article is heavily biased to criticise the use of symbolism within an environment. I can attempt to resolve that, but for the moment it is POV.ALR 21:33, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
POV?
I dont particularly think this is POV. It states fact in most cases. The only aspect is interpreting whether status symbols are that. Corner office is not a de-facto requirement of holding a senior position, but is indeed a perk. I am sure some big cheeses would disagree though :P An interesting point is that UK PMs do not seem to have any formal robes as such, but do get a massive house in the country and stay at an posh office (Number 10)
Development
I'm working on a redevelopment but at the moment there is a lot of repetition within the article. I'll move it to a sandbox to re-structure. It's probably better to talk about how various elements act as symbols, then articulate their use in various situations.ALR 19:58, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
