infamous "Saturday Night Massacre."
I'm not a baseball fan, so please feel free to correct me if I say something stupid, but this phrase bothers me. Saturday Night Massacre links only to the political event in 1973, and an (admittedly fairly quick) Google doesn't find anything relevant. I tend to feel that if something really was infamous, there should be an article about it. If it was only infamous among certain sets of fans, then it needs to be explained for the benefit of other readers who might not know what it refers to. Loganberry (Talk) 19:22, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

– No evidence that the baseball player is the primary topic; therefore proposing that the disambiguation page be located at the base name Steve Henderson. Theoldsparkle (talk) 17:24, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Support - Seems reasonable.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 12:50, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Weak opposeThe baseball player gets more page views than the cricketer and the game designer, granted not by that much so that's not overwhelming evidence. However, the baseball player has far more incoming links than the cricketer and the game designer. So that's enough for me to weakly oppose this proposal. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:43, 13 September 2012 (UTC)- Good point below. Enough so to change my vote to weak support. There is probably no primary topic here. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:10, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
- Support - even the baseball player doesn't get a huge number of hits (~20 a day). Internal link counts are affected by systemic bias - half of the main-namespace links to Steve Henderson are due to Template:1998 Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and many of the rest are routine mentions in season-by-season articles. I'd also suggest that Steve Henderson (disambiguation) should be merged with Stephen Henderson. Interplanet Janet, Esquire IANAL 13:38, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
