Talk:States Assembly

I have reluctantly deleted some very interesting stuff submitted anonymously on 12th Aug., because it has been submitted to the wrong page. If the writer or someone with enough time re-entered it on the Jersey History page rather than the States of Jersey History page it would enhance and improve it, but here it is off the subject. The same writer also included some contemporary political opinion, also valid and interesting, that does not belong on Wikipedia at all, but could be developed into an article that Jersey political forum websites such as Progress Jersey and IsThisJersey.com would be delighted to host. History of the States of Jersey

Have added in the History of the States of Jersey from its origins as a small part of the Royal Court, don't think the history section as it was really did it's job!

I have taken out certain further sections relating to specific politicians and their activities outside the States of Jersey. Hope this is an improvement.

New districts map

@Talleyrand6: Thank you for your interest in Jersey Wikipedia! The help & effort are highly appreciated. If you're thinking of contributing more, feel welcome to list yourself as a member of WikiProject Jersey! Your map is beautiful and very professional - I love it! Can I request however that you remove the 'Government of Jersey' logo from the image so that it is not misconstrued as a Government-official diagram (the logo is also under a form of copyright so it's reproduction in that way may be against Wikipedia's copyright policies, not sure). Anyway, Mèrcie bein des fais and happy editing! Jèrriais janne (talk) 00:34, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

sure thing! Talleyrand6 (talk) 13:49, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still pretty new to contributing to this website.
I appreciate the complement. Talleyrand6 (talk) 13:54, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
