Kauai Commercial Company Container Freight Terminal
The long low building in the background with the open door that can be seen in the scene shot at the Kauai Surf swimming pool is the Kauai Commercial Co. Ltd. Container Freight Terminal. Its not there any more, destroyed bu hurricane Ewa in 1982 or so. also in the back ground in this scene is the bulk sugar facility, the pinetree inn, paukini rock, and other fine memories.I probably opened that open door at the CFT the day this scene was shot. 2604:2D80:ED08:9F00:5802:E357:4BB1:9034 (talk) 09:17, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
