i dont get it.

-SUP = Stand Up Paddle Surfing, the boards are wider/longer than normal surf boards, can be ridden in flat calm waters or on waves ocean or otherwise. Yes I agree that a clear distinction should be made between SUP Surfing and SUPing. (My dog does not like the whitewater stuff.) You are not Surfing when there are no waves to surf.

Also "offers surfers the ability to catch more waves in a set" It is a rare surf spot where you can catch more than one wave in a set (of waves) Maybe: offers surfers the ability to catch more waves. or offers surfers the ability to catch more waves in a session. Article probably not correct on dog-easyness!

This SUP thing is actually a variant of the "canadian canoe" method of propulsion or maybe venetian rowing, but without the oarlock. It cannot be easy to learn, since one-sided, face-forward, single-oar rowing/paddling requires the "J-stroke" method to be able to go in a straight line and that is a notoriously tricky movement! 82.131.133.92 (talk) 19:29, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fishing removed?

Why is the section about fishing removed as "promotional" there are many fishing SUPs now available, and some of the newer models are hybrids that offer engine power. It doesn't seem promotional to mention that.

I frankly don't care if there is no reference, I was just attempting to provide a link to something that provided credibility to the topic of motorized fishing paddle boards including which are a new (if somewhat odd in my opinion) combination that provide access to otherwise hard to reach fishing grounds. New sections needed

This article is done so well! I am genuinely impressed, and I cannot find much to say on how to improve. If you wanted to add any more information, you could add the danger, risk, and precautions that one may take. One question I asked while reading was, "I wonder what how dangerous this is and if injuries are common?"
