2012 update

Taken from SAPO Facebook:

The SABP stopped functioning as a political party on 29.8.2012 due to no funding. A new organisation took its place as an NGO, the South African Business Project, in order to continue with the influence and work in promoting small business and good values in everyday life.

Now The organisation has changed its name to South Africa Peoples Organisation (SAPO) to more fully reflect its political nature without actually being a political party per se - http://sapo.org.za/

The rationale for this is that the original goal of the SABP was to have a political influence in SA and it is believed that this can now continue through SAPO as a political NGO.
