Snocross in Europe and Asia

Royalbroil mentioned he/she was looking for information on snocross outside North America. According to this German-language website promoting a race in Austria, the sport is as popular as skiing in Scandinavia. It also mentions pros from Slovenia and Italy. However, I'm not sure how accurate the first of those claims is, since this might just be an exaggeration to help promote the sport. According to this article (I can't read all of it, since that would require registration) Yamaha recently formed two Japanese snocross teams.--Carabinieri (talk) 21:00, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
