Split

There are two mandals in Adilabad District named Sirpur: namely mandal #29 named Sirpur(U) and mandal #45 named Sirpur(T). Sirpur(U) is located in the center of the district and Sirpir(T) is located in the northeast. See here for a map and list of mandals in Adilabad District. At this time both Sirpur(U) and Sirpur(T) seem to redirect to this article. Since the two are quite distinct, it would seem that two articles are called for. I agree, the situation is a mess. The article appears to be about Sirpur (T) and not (U). At least the map is of Sirpur (T). I am going to rename the article Sirpr Tandoora (as suggested). Where I cannot determine which mandal a piece of information belongs to, I will put a dubious tag on it and hope an expert will come along to sort it out. I will change the Sirpur U article to read "Sirpur U" is a Mandal in Adilabad district. Any objections? Op47 (talk) 00:34, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

I agree. Sirpur is a village in Sirpur mandal and Sirpur(T) mandals.--Vin09 (talk) 13:56, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Two different articles exist now, namely Sirpur (T) and Sirpur (U).
