"Tangent at the Point" Equation

The article's introduction gives a formula for the tangent of a plane curve at a point $(x_{0},y_{0})$. But the formula that follows is not an equation. Should the plus sign in the formula $$(x-x_{0})F_{x}'(x_{0},y_{0})+(y-y_{0})F_{y}'(x_{0},y_{0})$$ really be an equal sign? Norbornene (talk) 15:21, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
