Table

An editor has asked that this table be preserved. I'm leaving it here, so that someone can find a reference for it, before putting it back onto the article. --Rifleman 82 04:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That would be me, these values are very hard to find, and they are needed for people who are in Second year at University. I find it offensive to say that this is for silcon, where the article specifically says silcone oil, it is a chemical that is used in chemistry labs to help in finding thermal conductivity of other materials, it has everything to do with silicone oil. --Mwoo769 13:51, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I refer to the other material removed, that about polydimethylsiloxanes> That refers to silicones in general, of which silicone oil is a subset. As for the table - it might be hard to find, but if it is unsourced, it has no place here. So, all it takes is for the source to be cited. Could you provide the reference? --Rifleman 82 15:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, according to Wikipedia, polydimethylsiloxane "is one of several types of silicone oil", so it helps on this page to give an example. Can we have it back? Aarghdvaark (talk) 15:01, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't hear anything - so put polydimethylsiloxane as an example back. Aarghdvaark (talk)
