Relevance

I suspect that this 1990s book has some renewed relevance in the current context of post-truth conspiracism, postmodernism and tribalism. It would be good to try to look for more sources... I'll also try to see if the book mentions this, but some societies long considered to be primal were later discovered to have resulted from conflicts causing some groups to return to a more isolated lifestyle (from a post-agricultural society). —PaleoNeonate18:33, 11 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Short description

Although it makes sense for a short description to be short, per its definition, it's not very useful when it's meaningless... There's probably a possible compromise between the two. —PaleoNeonate02:46, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
