Well not so sure about that Dave - pretty sure it's Shir La'Shalom. I've looked in Hebrew song books published in Israel
and it's written La'Shalom in the Hebrew text. One example below

Reception in the Israeli society
"Despite it is hard to question the general message of the lyrics, the Israeli society is divided about it. Many from the Israeli right claimed that it had been improper to use this song for propaganda during the first Lebanon war because of its anti-war lyrics. Religious groups have been saying that parts of the lyrics ("The purest of prayers will not bring us back" or "don't whisper a prayer") were contradicting to their ideology."
