This article seems to be entirely on modern, and especially film, versions of the Sheriff of Nottingham. At any rate, nothing here is identified with any traditional material. No such thing as a Sheriff of Nottingham

This article states that there is no such role as the sheriff of Nottingham, but there is a list here on the Nottingham Council website that lists all holders of the post since 1449, so I think this probably needs updating? Partyguy (talk) 20:00, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
