Well written requirement

• "It and its owners were described by the New York Times as "... provid[ing] [ingredient] so many historic buildings lack" This is slightly awkward, referring to the inanimate building and people together.

 Done now matches the cited article.

• "and from 1917 it was owned by the Gibbs family" Maybe 'has been owned'? (Or rewritten in active voice.)

This isn't clear, because Mrs Gibbs moved out in 1992, and the present occupants are called Hawkins but I'm not sure if they've bought it or are tenanting.

Ah, okay. Given that, the current phrasing seems best.

• The 2nd paragraph of the "History" section has a slight proseline feel. You can probably improve it by punctuation, spacing or other small adjustments.

 Done Have broken this up into smaller sections roughly based on historical periods.

• Is it worth wikilinking AA/NPI?

AA is the The Automobile Association, but I can't find out which of the many NPIs it could be.

• "Modern times" section: "It hosts summer productions of Shakespeare and operas in its grounds and is a licensed venue for weddings." The part about Sheldon Manor being a weddings venue is slightly confusing as only the grounds are open, and the house is inhabited.

 Done rejigged this to avoid the ambiguity. It seems from one website that although the house is not generally open, rooms may be used for weddings, and I don't want to overstate this without checking with the local authority.

Broadness, Referencing

• The "Antiques" section is small—yet proud! Is any further information available such as famous artefacts or works by well-known artists, etc?

 Done, found on the NY Times article, but unfortunately can't determine which of the three Teniers' it is, so have left it unlinked. I'll look into that.

• Please check you have all web references properly formatted with publishers and access dates at the very least—I think 99% already are.

 Done All look OK now, have attributed author for NYTimes article.

• Are you able to clarify if there's one self-published Gibbs book or multiple titles? The Worldcat database is unclear, listing three possibly duplicate titles: http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/number at numbers: 60674211, 78393569, and 220203069.

It would seem to be "(1983). Sheldon Manor: a history of the house and the manor. Cornwall, s.n.", which is the 78393569; the title matches information I've received from the Hawkins, but we don't need to cite it, although an isbn would help.

Agreed on the citing point. The search results made me wonder if Mrs Gibbs had written more than one book on the manor; the variations might be due to some sources including a subtitle, etc. The reported page counts (Worldcat, Amazon.com seller) varied too, though it's probably not worth reading much into that variance. For single self-published books, a private individual can obtain an ISBN, though as far as I know it's not a norm. In this case, I didn't find one; if anyone discovers one in the future, it can easily be added.

• Is it worth mentioning/clarifying its 'Chippenham Without' / 'Chippenham Within' location mentioned at the Wiltshire County Council site you linked?

• On the first image you've added licensing information: "This file is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 2.5 License" ... No it's not. :) Please adjust to match the license at the source link.

• Are there any historic images available? Perhaps an idea for future further improvement.

• Some historic maps are at the country council site you have linked, though I don't know if these would genuinely add something to the article.

 Doing... Have added the parish map to show location. Unable to find historic images of the Manor itself, but will take a look.

Thank you for your prompt attentiveness during the review, Rodhullandemu. Your expansions and improvements strengthened the article beyond its already decent standard. You've indicated you've some thoughts & ideas, and things in motion, for future changes, which is great.
