More on WWI?
The detail on the Dockyard during WWI is rather scant as it is implies a quiet routine but it was surely far from that, when two ships HMS Bulwark (in 1914) and Princess Irene (1915) both spectacularly blew up accidentally in Sheerness Harbour by general account. Or were these not close enough to Sheerness Dockyard proper (I do not live in Kent). They would have been quite a break in routine for those working locally.Cloptonson (talk) 12:11, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
