I will also add in some info about this link http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/employment-status/ from the government as (in the UK) you can't 'decide' to be self employed, it's about if your employer pays your tax for you, or if you pay it yourself. It also depends on quite a lot of other things, which I would like some help/suggestions with. if you're self-employed in the UK, why don't you help me with writing this page? xx:)
