Anchors

Just to let you know, I don't think the mall has 24 anchors. I'm not sure how many have their own exterior entrances being anchors though. 03:04, 1 April 2006 (UTC) Alexzero77

Also, IKEA is not only not an anchor, but not even walking distance to the Sawgrass Mills mall. I am removing its presence in the article entirely. 24.90.76.105Jennifer —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 17:07, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Garden Ridge was never an anchor at sawgrass mills. IT was located outside the mall off the mall property. It was next to a Walmart and is now a Home Depot. It was considered AT sawgrass Mills but was never IN sawgrass mills Robbutton 19:15, 18 October 2007 (UTC) Rob Button 10/18/07[reply]

What is the definition of an Anchor Store. Is it by square footage or outside in/exits? Alot of what is listed is in an Open Air Section called the OASIS at Sawgrass MIlls and all have outside enter/exits. Robbutton 19:22, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure they've since demolished the entrance displayed in that picture; they've also more or less abandoned the named entrances. Previously, whenever you entered the mall, a loud voice intoned which entrance you were coming through in english and spanish. Now, that voice is gone, and I'm pretty sure the mall maps no longer list the names of the entrances.

  • At least, it is still a useful picture until a more up-to-date one is presented. The caption should be updated with more current information. B.Wind 19:44, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Correct, the entrance feature have been remodeled to accommodate The Colonnade addition. Updated image. AZ'sReincarnation (talk) 00:45, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
