Well, since the current name is Saproamanita, I think that the text page should be Saproamanita vittadinii and Amanita vittadinii should be a redirect to that page. I propose to boldly implement that change. Strobilomyces (talk) 19:52, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Main database references are split over this. Currently, Index Fungorum classifies the taxon as Amanita vittadinii, while MycoBank accepts Saproamanita vittadinii. Leaving article title as is until both sources are in alignment. Loopy30 (talk) 14:01, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
