[The following should be considered for addition to the "in popular culture" section of this article. It is a more simplified addition with less citations than the previously requested change. It also excludes the mention of awards that it won, which is not really necessary information.]

In May of 2022, an off-Broadway play adapted from Erdely's "A Rape on Campus" article controversy and resulting legal battles titled Retraction premiered in New York City at Theatre Row.[1][2][3]
