If the pre-mitochondria were Rickettsiales-like, intra-cellular parasites... then, perhaps the first true Eukaryote was formed, through phagocytosis (e.g. Amoeba), when it envoloped & digested infected cells ? 66.235.26.150 (talk) 12:39, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
