Merging

This article is about a short section of California State Route 90, which is already mentioned in the forementioned article. This is both repetition and an overlap. Should merge.

• Oppose I disagree, as it is noteworthy for being named for a President of the United States. Not all the material is duplicated. I think it's noteworthy. Happyme22 (talk) 23:58, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
• Oppose I also disagree, partially, because SR-90 is composed of two completely separate segments. This article just focuses on one part of one of them that happens to be built to freeway standards, making it somewhat more noteworthy than other segments of SR-90.Vercillo (talk) 06:44, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

• Support—There is nothing in this article that can't be adequately included in the SR-90 article. The name may be notable, but that notability will only prevent the content from being deleted. The information can still be merged elsewhere, and the article title redirected. If additional content is added about this segment of roadway, the article could be split back out in the future. As of right now though, the article can be merged without a loss of content, to the enrichment of the SR-90 article. Imzadi 1979 → 19:45, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

• Support merge. Article is redundant to CA 90 article. "It is noteworthy for being named for a President of the United States" is a bad criterion for establishing notability because it implies that if I named a doghouse the "Gerald R.
