Revise/Remove Section on Primate Research (aka Controversy)?

The Controversy section has factual errors and content that Richard Davidson was not party to or is irrelevant to his biography. I edited the section to improve the content but it was reverted multiple times. My version can be reviewed here.

The following highlights some of the issues:

  • "Davidson's research on primates has led to controversy and criticism."
    Only one newspaper article is used to support this claim and it only refers specifically to a 2014 grant application. Moreover, the article is primarily about Dr. Ned Kalin who is the scientist conducting the research on rhesus macaques, although Davidson is quoted in the article. The article (written by Noah Phillips) is referenced separately four times. Three of the references are syndicated versions of the original piece published in The Cap Times.
  • "UW-Madison bioethicist Rob Streiffer[14] who objected to Davidson's primate research .."
    This paragraph does not state that the primate research is a component of a larger study.
  • “We’re killing baby monkeys ..."
    This is journalistic sensationalism.
  • "In study published in 2004[15] in which Davidson was a lead author ..."
    Davidson was not the lead author, he was the last listed co-author.
  • "The amygdalae of these rhesus macaques ..."
    More sensationalism.
  • "For the first three to five weeks ..." and "The babies will be housed ..."
    The cited references are the same source and it does not mentioned Davidson.
  • "This experiment builds ..."
    This paragraph and the following two others are to do with Harry Harlow and are not relevant to Davidson.
  • "Most recently, in 2020 ..."
    This paragraph and the remaining paragraphs are off-topic and none of the cited references mention Davidson.
