I made a lot of modifications to this article where I thought they would be appropriate, especially in the introductory section. I added links, fixed some grammatical/usage errors, reworded some areas for clarity sake, and reorganized some parts. I changed little in the "plants originated in water..." section other than some clarifications, as I am not particularly knowledgeable about that area, but I would guess that a lot of work needs to be done there as well. A lot more needs to be added to this article, but I don't think I have the expertise to do it as a college student who has taken a few biology courses. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.105.151 (talk) 20:24, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
