Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page

Diagram caption

I think the diagram is kinda misleading, the final states always show an exciton (electron in valence band) but most of the RIXS work is on collective excitations, which don't effect the single electron energy.

Tone of Article

It reads like an advert for the technique.

Furthermore, it should be written in the passive voice.

IXS or RIXS?

In my courses on master-level I see it commonly refered to as IXS and not RIXS. Should maybe the article name be IXS? Is it always resonant? And even if so is RIXS really the more commonly used name? --Blue.painting (talk) 21:11, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Observations and suggestions for improvements

The following observations and suggestions for improvements were collected, following an expert review of the article within the Science, Technology, Society and Wikipedia course at the Politecnico di Milano, in July 2023.

This page is the revision of an existing page. I could of course check the changes made by Stefano Elli, but it is somewhat clumsy. Therefore, evaluation of the scientific content of the page reflects in part the existing state of the scientific content.
