Lack of thorough sources

While I feel the sources which I have used meet WP:Reliable, the articles themselves could be of higher journalistic quality. Rentboy.com is a prominent website that gets involved in many real-life events, and I find good coverage of these events online. However, the company does not seem to have a primary interest in documenting its corporate profile such that this could readily be found online outside the context of mentions within descriptions of particular events hosted by the company.

I would especially appreciate if anyone could direct me to any statements on company philosophy or statements about the motivation to align themselves with particular charities and not-for-profit groups. Thanks. Blue Rasberry 19:50, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I take back what I said before - this company has issued a lot of statements about itself, but the problem before was that I did not find them through web searches. Rentboy.com has a page of their press archives here. There are dozens of articles from lots of famous magazines; I could use some help going through some of these and finding encyclopedic content. Confusion over CEO's name

This entry appears to refer to Rentboy.com's CEO variously as "Jeffrey Davids" and "Jeffrey Hurant." While they are ostensibly the same person (perhaps one is a married name?), I found no information to confirm that. Mattr1970 (talk) 20:30, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Verb tense

Apologies if this is not correct, as I am new to helping edit Wikipedia articles. It caught my attention that several parts of this entry are written in present tense despite the fact Rentboy.com is not an operational website. Should the verb tense of the article be corrected for this? MacJake (talk) 01:49, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@MacJake: Yes! Feel free to change verb tenses here for the reason you explained. Also welcome to Wikipedia editing. Bluerasberry (talk) 16:26, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I shifted the verb tense in the article best I could. I'm new at editing so anybody please feel free to further correct as needed. I forgot to log in before doing so, so unfortunately it is not listed under my username. AfbatGusto (talk) 21:59, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
