Name
This article was recently moved from Registered Cossacks to Registry Cossacks. I'll revert this move; Google Books gives not a single hit for "Registry Cossacks", but over 500 for "Registered Cossacks". The term is used by Magocsi, Subtelny and others. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:58, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Do women not register?
The lead says "....a Registered Cossack is every man, who is recorded in an official Russian or Polish registry as Cossack". Do women not register? Moriori (talk) 23:46, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
- There is no historical evidence of any limitations for women our younger ladies. However for most of the time registered cossacks were males. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 12:27, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
