Talk:Red rot/Archive 1

Considering the age and storage conditions of leather that's going to be susceptible to red rot, it seems odd that this is classed as a clothing-related article. Unless you have a 17th-century leather jerkin that you drag out of the attic on festive occasions, your clothing probably isn't something you have to worry about; this is more an issue for old, leather-bound books.

Is there a "library" or "bookbinding" category for this to go in? (Or is the simple "books" the best fit?)

"Red rot" is also ...

... a tree disease (caused by tree fungis). (see among others "Braunfäule" by german Wikipedia) -- Hl1948 (talk) 09:35, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
