Imprecise redirect

"Downlight" redicrects here. But by no means are all downlights recessed lights. Flush and semi flush fixtures are just as if not more common. I'm not even sure whether pendant wouldn't also qualify. 99.11.160.111 (talk) 07:47, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, Downlight and Recessed are two different concepts that may or may not go together:

> Downlights can be recessed and they come surface-mounted as well.

> Recessed luminaires on the other hand could be in a lot of different categories, from panels and downlights in ceilings to recessed fixtures in walls and floors, including outdoor lighting.
