There is an editing error on this page. Part of it says.... the second paragraph starts out wrong.

When this agreement ended in 1977, Rawlings began using its own logo, becoming the official supplier of the major leagues (producing separate balls for both the American and National Leagues from 1977 to 1999, and since 2000, a single ball for all of Major League Baseball), succeeding Spalding, which had been the supplier for a century. All the balls supplied to MLB teams are manufactured in Costa Rica.[7] Many major leaguers have endorsed Rawlings equipment over the years. There are five main series for the gloves: the Gold Glove Series, the Heritage Pro Series, the Heart of the Hide Series, the Pro Preferred Series, and the Gold Glove Collection Series.

I don’t know how to edit either. I do know that there is a lot of the history of Rawlings missing or conflated. Rawlings was acquired by the Cleveland based conglomerate Figgie International in the late 70’s/early 80’s and It was not sold until 1994. 2603:6010:C740:6900:9987:E71A:7E91:DB2F (talk) 15:42, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
