To do

  • need to link this to the Robotic_Refueling_Mission tests on the ISS. - Done
  • confirm intended fluids. (HTP is one [1] )
    • RAFTI brochure lists low pressure (fluids) and high pressure (gases) - done
  • list the major organisations.
  • summarise the interface definition - see spec summary ref - dimensions not clear
  • list any alternative standards. - Rod57 (talk) 17:38, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NG Passive Refueling Module alternative

RAFTI ... "Northrop Grumman’s satellite-servicing subsidiary SpaceLogistics developed a different port called Passive Refueling Module."'Space Force looking at what it will take to refuel satellites in orbit' Tetra-5 - Rod57 (talk) 19:34, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

When first launch and use in space

Article says 2020 & 2021, but now Orbit Fab say 2025 launch : "The first spacecraft expected to go to space with RAFTI ports are three Space Force Tetra-5 satellites projected to launch in 2025 to geostationary orbit for a refueling demonstration. An Orbit Fab fuel depot will lock on the satellite’s RAFTI fueling port and replenish the satellite in orbit."[2] - need to reconcile/clarify how that differs from what launched in 2020. - Rod57 (talk) 09:41, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
