This is a good start but there is still some work to be done here. The article lacks citations throughout.I would refer to the Wikipedia page for rape when trying to define it. Wikipedia writing does not allow for you to present new original ideas. You are simply presenting evidence. In that note, make sure that you don't use words that insinuate or provide an opinion. Also, I would merge the prevalence and statistics section together. As far as the laws, you will need to some more research. The current President of Afghanistan is Ashraf Ghani. You will need to update the leader as well as the outcome of the law. The article also needs some good editing throughout. I hope this helps. I will check again tomorrow. Like I stated before you moved the source tag and placed it above and added a citation needed tag which was not needed as the reference provided that information.
Also why do you want to keep the same repeated statement in the statistics section as the dame things are already mentioned in the afghan law section? Shinakho (talk) 21:47, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Shinakho: I did not see that in the citation; you should perhaps type here what it says. The sentences in the "Afghan law" section and "Available statistics and stigma" section are slightly different and since both are sourced, you should not remove them as it is not allowed to remove sourced content.-1Firang (talk) 22:07, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Avoid removing any content, even if you think it is a repetition.
  • Let me remove the incomplete sentence, "Under some interpretations of Shari'a." which you have left after your last edit.
  • Let me add a link to the term Sharia (I want to link it to the Islamic law article)
  • Let me add a link to the term stoning (I want to link it to the Stoning in Islam article)
  • Let me change "100 lashes" to "hundred lashes".

@1Firang: You are misunderstanding/misrepresenting what WP:DRN is. It is to help editors reach consensus about content through mediated discussion; it is not a board for complaining about editor conduct. And you must make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute among yourself or through WP:3O etc before a DRN mediator agrees to volunteer their time to the issue. Telling another editor that you will have them blocked unless they agree to let you do whatever you want (a ridiculous threat, by the way) is not how you achieve consensus!
Looking at each of the requests above:
  • Avoid removing any content, even if you think it is a repetition - utterly ridiculous. You cannot ban other editors from ever removing content. Why on earth would we want to include the same information multiple times?
  • Let me remove the incomplete sentence, "Under some interpretations of Shari'a." which you have left after your last edit. - This is a good fix.
  • Let me add a link to the term Sharia (I want to link it to the Islamic law article) - This seems reasonable.
  • Let me add a link to the term stoning (I want to link it to the Stoning in Islam article) - Seems generally reasonable, though there may be slight WP:EASTER issues in that some of the context of where the link leads is lost.
  • Let me change "100 lashes" to "hundred lashes". - this would be a poor change. "or hundred lashes of the whip" is not correct English, it should be "or one hundred lashes of the whip". Per MOS:NUMERAL either option is fine, and I see no reason to use the more wordy version here.

I did not do anything that the IP objected to. The source says, "Zina has been reported from every province of Afghanistan", so I have typed, "Zina has been reported from every province of the country" in the "Prevalence" section. I only removed it because it was not in the required format for the page and gave no link to the discussion, nor any indication of an actual content dispute. You are welcome to make a properly formatted request on the page, but please follow the instructions on the page.
