Conflation with his father: The middle part, that talks about Gurges dying in his third consulship, conflates the younger Gurges (Consul in 265) with the elder Gurges (Consul in 292 and 276). This mistake seems to come from some nineteenth century sources that do not make the distinction. I am going to delete this error if no one objects. Alexalderman (talk) 08:32, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
