Fair use rationale for Image:Qsl issue07-01-16 01 sm.jpg

Image:Qsl issue07-01-16 01 sm.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Wikispam articles are usually noted for sales-oriented language (as in "to generate interest so customers will purchase") and external links to a commercial website." I dispute the above characterization of this article as wikipedia:SPAM. As per Wikipedia's notability guidelines, QSaltLake has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. The Deseret News and City Weekly, whose coverage is included in this article's external links section, both meet guidelines for WP:RS.

Furthermore, QSaltLake itself qualifies as WP:RS -- the newspaper is known for providing reliable, journalistic news coverage.

QSaltLake has a similar significance to Salt Lake City's gay community that, e.g., The Bay Area Reporter has to that of San Francisco.

Finally, good-faith efforts to resolve this discussion with user KnowYouNow were to no avail: He/she has no profile or talk page. I suggest that this complaint may have more to do with random personal motivations than with a user's concern over encyclopedic integrity.
