"Pteryx" as stem?

   I removed to here the following, which is not a Dab entry:

* A Greek word meaning wing or winged, used often as a suffix in the scientific names of birds <ref>Shipman, Pat. ''Taking Wing: Archaeopteryx and the Evolution of Bird Flight''</ref>

since i cannot see how it could become a link to an article that could, but for the existence of Pteryx as primary topic, have been titled "Pteryx". I may be wrong, and creating a stub would be a first step twd proving me wrong.
   IIRC, a page like the accompanying Dab is speedy-deletable, with a caveat in MoSDab saying that its transmigration into a HatNote Dab is not always worth the trouble. In this case, i suggest a waiting period permitting brainstorming on likely candidates for the Dab page. Perhaps List of biological taxa named using "pteryx" or List of biological taxa suffixed with "pteryx", under "See also"? Meh...
