I think that the page needs to be modified to say that both the paraventricular nucleus and supraoptic nucleus release both hormones, with the supraoptic doing so in higher quantity. Neurohypophysis

Neurohypophysis and posterior pituitary are not synonymous. The neurohypophysis includes the posterior pituitary as well as the infundibulum. Chrisjustinparr (talk) 18:17, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neither of these images present a clear view of the important structures in the posterior pituitary. I don't know any public pictures that show the axon projections, but this would make the anatomy section much easier to understand. PVSpud (talk) 03:20, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Structure of Article

The anterior pituitary article, which is mentioned in this one is rated C class. I think this article should be structured similar to that one. The other one has development, role in the endocrine system and behavioral effects which I think would be important information to add to the article Aahoward13 (talk) 19:03, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
