Stoned for Soup

I love to hear someone read a real story to me, probably because my Granny used to hold my feet and read me story's like Stone Soup and Noah's Ark. It wasn't until I was grown and had children of my own in school that I realized my mother never asked me if I had homework, and I cant say that I recall her ever reading me a book.
