Podolia EyaletEyalet of Kamjanec – Or some other form such as Kamieniec Eyalet. The first finds 4 results on Google Books, the second 2, which is still better than the hits for the current form (only one). Relisted. • Oppose. The sources in the article tend to prefer Podolia for the region[1][2] even though they use Kamaniçe (et al.) for the city. Pitcher's Historical Geography of the Ottoman Empire also uses Podolia with no mention of Kamaniçe (et al.). The proposed title matches neither the Turkish nor the English name of the city. —  AjaxSmack  02:33, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Of course Podolia is the most common name for the region. The question is, what is the most common name for the eyalet?--eh bien mon prince (talk) 05:37, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Google books results fewer than five are really useless. For really marginal cases, we can't make our calls on what just one or two scholars might've chosen. Neutral, leaning oppose as per AjaxSmack. Red Slash 05:52, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We have 4+2 results using some variation of Kamjanec for the name of the eyalet, thereby reaching the magic threshold of five. You can add to those another 23 that record the Ottoman form as "Eyalet-i Kamaniçe", versus *one* using the name Podolia so far.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 07:32, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The map looks incorrect on my PC

For some reason, the map looks incorrect on my PC at least on 2 browsers. The font goes beyond the legend box. But on the map's page, it looks fine. Can this be corrected? Does anyone else have this problem? Screenshot.--Adûnâi (talk) 09:43, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
