I'll be moving this page to Yeniceköy, Cyprus for the following reasons:
- Per WP:COMMONNAME: Yeniceköy appears to be much more common in English-language sources per this Google search: 260 for Yeniceköy vs 6 for Petra tou Digeni.
- Per the convention on multiple local names: This is a Turkish Cypriot village which has always been called Yeniceköy in Turkish. Turkish is an official language of Cyprus so this name also has de jure validity. There is no reason to prefer the Greek name, which has never been used by the village's inhabitants.

- So probably that means that these communities should be called like this:
- Maratha = Muratağa
- Lefka = Lefke
- Aloda = Atılar
- Limnitis = Yeşilırmak
- Chatos = Serdanlı
- No editor ever moved this villages to their Turkish names but why Petra tou Digeni was moved to Yeniceköy? If this village's residents were Turks even before 1974 then why the the communities mentioned above have Greek names and not Turkish? Neither for example 'Lefka' was ever used by the people of Lefka so why these communities are excluded but Petra tou Digeni was moved to Yeniceköy? Jorjygamer41 (talk) 13:05, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
