Function Section uses misogynistic languagd

The function section states that the purpose of arousal and swelling in this tissue is to make the vagina tighter around the penis. This suggests that arousal in an individual woman is for the purpose of a hypothetical male and hia genitalia, which is misogynistic. The next section notes that this area can be stimulated for sexual pleasure in women, which seems like just as good a description of a purpose as that used now.

Recommend review and removal of old, harmful perspectives of female anatomy and arousal being about men. Honestly, I find it questionable on whether a "purpose" statement even makes sense here 71.62.212.158 (talk) 00:27, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
