Fiction

is this film a real story????— Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.81.159.11 (talk) 19:23, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you would have bothered to read the article about it you would clearly see that it is fictional ripping off the idea from the low budget movie Paranormal Activity. I do have to admit though, I liked it. The one thing that was retarded though was the fact that they went through 16 days of all that stuff before the "doctor" showed up. It didn't appear to cross their mind to bring someone else in during that time or to maybe involve the police. Hell, I would have at least called Ghost Hunters hahaha! At the end there is also the fact that the girl is covered in blood while she is screaming and then when the camera is turned around she is cleaned off and there is a wound (a clean one) on her breast that want there before.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Orkinator (talkcontribs) 08:49, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
actually if you had bothered to read the article you would clearly see that it is a non fictional story —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.33.206.55 (talk) 04:25, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ihave just recently watched this film and was very shocked and scared of what happens.I would like to ask anyone who has seen it if this is realy a true film because i thaught that this was the real tape they found a year after they all end up dying? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.193.86.26 (talk) 14:39, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Egad, how many of you are going to ask the same question on this page when it's been answered twice here, AND in the main article?
Also, this page is written HORRIBLY. Bad english, bad spelling, poor syntax, .... ugh.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.41.24.3 (talk) 18:06, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This was the worst movie I have seen in a long time. It made the blair witch movie look great. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.181.47.191 (talk) 06:16, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I have seen both this film and Paranormal Activity. Paranormal Activity wasn't worth the film it was printed on. This movie was fantastic. Very scary. Had me going until the disclaimer at the end that it was fictitious. A must watch and much, much better that the film that preceded it. And by the way, the Blair Witch movie sucked. Not at all scary. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.206.224.64 (talk) 03:21, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that there is no facts to back up either of you who have opposite ideas about the truthfulness of the movie..Mark B —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.79.180.113 (talk) 08:25, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry.....have I stepped into an alternate universe? Are there SERIOUSLY people out there who believe that this is genuine "found footage" and these people all got killed by some malevolent force and then it all got released on DVD? Oh....my....goodness....SERIOUSLY??? Much as though I actually quite like this movie....REALLY?? 195.92.40.49 (talk) 07:21, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

To all the box of rocks ....

To all of the "box of rocks" out there ... sorry .. but had to say that ... sorry to offend ... but ... the name of the actress in the film is " Erin Marie Hogan " as already stated by the author of the article. If you look up HER name NOT Samantha Finley on Facebook you will see that she is alive and well (her photo included) ... her occupation is .... SUPRISE ..... "actress". I am by no means denying that spirits and paranormal entities do not exist, because, I 100% believe that they do. But, in relation to this film ... come on people ... Also, note when you search the name "Samantha Finley", how come there are only references to the movie that come up? No newspaper articles or history on her etc ... Does anyone else think that is odd?— Preceding unsigned comment added by RanchOwner (talkcontribs) 12:33, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ohhh yeah ... one more thing .... on her Facebook Page ... on her actor calling card, it shows "Paranormal Entity" and that she played Samantha!— Preceding unsigned comment added by RanchOwner (talkcontribs) 12:42, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I also thought throughout this whole film that I could almost hear the crew in the background cuing the actors, and could almost point out all the "fake" and "scripted" nature of this film. First off, the girl that plays Samantha looks like an actress; second, the mother also looks like an actress; third, you never see the Thomas guy's face, which ought to tell you something-he is an actor that doesn't want people to notice his face in other films! Another dead giveaway to this film being fiction is that everything that is "paranormal activity" can easily be the work of a few automatic doors, computer software, and sleep and wake timers on the television. The doctor also reminded me of another actor. All the people that play in this film are ACTORS!!! Notice how every time something "creepy" happens, the cameras aren't rolling? For instance, the footprints on the ceiling, which I must admit freaked me out a bit, were not captured as they were being made, but after. And I just have one more point to make-why in the world would someone have cameras in their home that just happen to capture all the footage at the right angles, the right times, and why does this guy always have a camera in his hand? Why do all the lights go out when the climax happens-where are all the candles? Where are the police? Where is the priest? I'm telling you-if I had this crazy shit happening in my house, there's not a doubt in my mind that I would be gone with my shoes still there smoking! I'd ask questions later! I'd deal with where I would go, who I'd stay with, and what to do with the house, LATER! And here's my final remark regarding films such as this one: if this type of crap was going on in my home night after night, why in the world would anyone sleep alone in their own rooms? I would definitely grab a bunk buddy, hire the best exorcist I could find, and if all else fails, I would burn the place to the ground! So, in lieu of all I've just said, and plenty I've left out due to time and space factors, this film is definitely scripted and these are paid actors!— Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.125.161.35 (talk) 07:43, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
