thanks

Thanks for that great photo of the Ski Lodge we built in the late eighties. I am a retired architect living in Mexico and remember fondly the joy of creating that great high-tech shell of 13,000 ft2 for the lowly sum of $225,000., knowing that the members spray painted the open web steel joists and all the inside panel in one weekend...and in one color! Although I have a lot of videos, I had to this day no good photograph of the finished product. I ought to go skiing there at one point in the NEAR future while my joints still hold together.^ --Jimpoir 07:08, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Beginners area

When I was growing up there were two rope tows serving beginner areas, not just one. I couldn't tell you more than that they were operational from 1960 through 1975. They were really hard to use as a child because the rope was so heavy. They were two types of rope grippers but they required hand strength to use. An adult would get on and a crowd of kids would get on as fast as they coukdto take advantage of having the rope held up. Many happy memories of those but also the T-bar which served more slopes!
